		<description>Thanks for sharing this enlightening tidbit! I never thought to implement LVM in a raid setup, what an effective method. However, I found the stride calculations most enlightening. 

Honestly before this post I didn&#039;t know what a stride was, nor how to calculate it. Upon further research, the mke2fs man page isn&#039;t much help either.
